Experience

Pomfret School (Associate Director of Design, 2019 – Present)

Responsible for the development and execution of visual strategy at Pomfret. As a senior member of the marketing and communications team, this position is tasked with creating and managing all of the graphic assets, animations, and layouts used in our digital and print communications. The Associate Director of Design collaborates closely with fellow teammates (and clients) to deliver creative solutions that bolster brand recognition, increase constituent engagement, and support key programs, initiatives, and priorities of the school.

Pomfret School (Graphic Designer — April 2013 to 2019)

Description: Responsible for the development of visual materials for the School (web, print, electronic distribution, and signage). 

 

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Manage design of Alumni Magazine, Annual Report and other high end print communications
  • Assist Marketing team with brainstorming, marketing and advertising strategies
  • Mock-up design ideas and present ideas to leadership on all projects of a promotional nature
  • Manage the printing process such as pricing and press checks for Communications Department driven projects
